COMPETITION SCHEDULE

The first morning session, commencing at 10.00am, sees the Sommeliers taking part in a first round written exam, blind wine tasting and wine pairing supervised by members of the Italian Sommelier Association (AIS).  

From this, the contestants are whittled down to three semi-finalists. 
 
In the afternoon, from 3.30pm, the semi-finalists will be asked to perform on stage the best service possible, to role-playing customers made up of VIP, importers, wine buyers, journalists and bloggers sat at tables as if dining.  Judging the performance, we will have Masters of Wine, journalists, wine experts, Master Sommeliers and AIS board members,

The winner will be rewarded with £1000 prize offered by UKSA.

The first and second runner up will win £250 each.
